2 unusual facts about Chicago 13

Chicago 13

After recording sessions in Morin Heights (north of Montreal) and Hollywood, Chicago 13 - which saw the band return to numbering their albums with their trademark name logo - was released that August and was preceded by Donnie Dacus' "Must Have Been Crazy" as lead single - a track that couldn't have been further removed from Chicago's well-known sound.

This would be the band's final release that features Terry Kath's replacement Donnie Dacus.

Chicago XIV

After the commercial and critical disappointment of Chicago 13, and the departure of guitarist Donnie Dacus, Chicago decided that a new strategy was in order.
