Sharing the same management as Chicken Shack, Mungo Jerry and Savoy Brown, more years on the road followed, with one album, Bronx Cheer's Greatest Hits, Volume Three, a single and an EP.
The song "Going Down", originally released by the band Moloch on their eponymous album in 1969, became a blues standard and was covered by Freddie King, Jeff Beck, Deep Purple, JJ Cale, Marc Ford, Chicken Shack, Bryan Ferry, Pearl Jam, Gov't Mule, Sam Kinison, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Satriani, The Who, Led Zeppelin, and many others.
It was recorded in 1971 by Link's brother Vernon "Ray Vernon" Wray at Wray's Shack Three Track studio, an old chicken shack on Wray's farm in Accokeek, Maryland during the Link Wray/Mordicai Jones sessions.
