One of his houses appears to have been located on Sporier Street, near the Tower of London, and at the expulsion in 1290 was granted to the prior of Chicksands.
Osborne was born on 17 November 1715, at Chicksands village (Shefford, Bedfordshire, England), which was the seat of the Osborn family.
The unit transferred with the Corps and the Defence Intelligence and Security Centre to Chicksands in 1997.
