Kráľovský Chlmec, known until 1948 as Kráľovský Chlumec, a village in Slovakia.

It occurred on 18 February 1126 in the vicinity of the village of Chlumec (German: Kulm) near Chabařovice on the southern side of the Ore Mountains.
The development of the Kinsky horse is closely linked with the history of the Chlumec branch of the Kinsky family and in particular Count Oktavian Kinsky (1813–1896).
