Alge is named after his father's favorite book, Flowers for Algernon.
At that studio, he recorded and mixed Steve Winwood's "Back in the High Life" album featuring the single "Higher Love" The album won multiple Grammys in 1986 for Record of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Performance, Male and the Grammy for Best Engineered Recording - Non-Classical, the latter awarded to Lord-Alge for his work on the album.
