The part was originally played by Dominic Alumudan in the Malayalam version (Prakashraj did this role in its re-released Tamil version Chutti Chathan).
The movie is a digitalized sequel version to the 1984 Malayalam hit, first 3D Indian film My Dear Kuttichathan, added with some extra footages.
