Born in 1935 in the Circassian village of al-Braika, Qaddura was the son of Ibrahim al-Mughribi, chief of the Damascus Police during the era of President Mohammad Ali al-Abid(1932-1936).
Circassia’s historical great range extended from the Taman Peninsula in the west, to the town of Mozdok in today’s North Ossetia–Alania in the east.
The down town of Naour was established by the Circassian immigrants who were expelled from their homeland Circassia (Cherkessia) in the North Caucasus in 1900.
Influenced by Karl Haushofer's theory of "large spaces", he conceived an ambitious project of the German protectorate over the projected Caucasian confederation (The Greater Circassia), including Volga, Ural, Siberian regions, Alaska and the US West in general in which the Georgians were to play the leading role.
The title of a third, In a Mosque, reflects the abundance of mosques in the once Turkish Caucausus and Circassian regions such as Adygea in Russia, and one can here the Muezzin's call to prayer in the music.
