Chantry Chapel of St Mary the Virgin, Wakefield

The "Friends of Wakefield Chantry Chapel" was formed in 1991 by members of the Wakefield Historical Society, Wakefield Civic Society and members of St Andrew's Church to raise funds to repair the chapel roof and re-point the stonework.

Anne Hamilton, 3rd Duchess of Hamilton

Duchess Anne's building of 1714 survived until its demolition in 1932, a plaque commemorating the site being subsequently erected by Hamilton Civic Society, the Hamilton family continuing as benefactors of the school (see article Hamilton Academy.)

Birmingham Civic Society

The Birmingham Civic Society was founded at an inaugural meeting on 10 June 1918 in The Council House, Birmingham, England and is registered with The Civic Trust.

Pelsall

A notable landmark in Pelsall is The Fingerpost, at the junction of B4154 Norton Road and A4124 Lichfield Road, which is an unusual and possibly unique design and was substantially restored in the 1980s by Bert Kellitt for the local Civic Society.

Sfera Politicii

Sfera Politicii was establisheded by Stelian Tănase around the Civic Society Foundation (Fundaţia "Societatea Civilă", which was headed by Alexandru Paleologu until his death in 2005) and the Institute for Economic and Political Research (Institutul de Cercetări Economice şi Politice).
