Cathedral Heights is bordered by the neighborhoods of Tenleytown to the north, Cleveland Park to the northeast, Woodley Park to the east, American University Park to the west, and Glover Park to the south.
With the construction of a swimming pool, the Club became more centered on recreational swimming, although other activities, including annual potluck suppers on Memorial Day and Labor Day, a day camp, and other occasional social and educational events continue.
Steward was born in Washington, D.C., where he lived on Monroe Street, NW, and later, Macomb Street in Cleveland Park.
North Cleveland Park should also not be confused with the neighboring Cleveland Park community to its south; although both are part of the original tract of land on which Grover Cleveland built his summer estate in the 1880s, they are two separate neighborhoods.
