It features Clint Mansell and Graham Crabb singing the song against various changing backgrounds while in other parts the rest of the band members perform the song with stacks of TVs behind them.
This was the only PWEI album (excluding the Amalgamation EP) released on Trent Reznor's Nothing Records, although Clint Mansell would collaborate with Trent Reznor on various future projects.

The song "Mission Drive" was inspired by Wonder Stuff singer Miles Hunt's fall out with best friend and former flatmate Clint Mansell of Pop Will Eat Itself.
They include a variety of repertoire from original Sonus arrangements of classical pieces such as a 15th century madrigal or a Shostakovich quartet, to popular music from The Cure or Clint Mansell’s Lux Aeterna.
