The Glasgow, Bothwell, Hamilton and Coatbridge Railway was a railway company in Scotland that was formed to run trains between Shettleston and Hamilton.
In the 1970s the Tannoy company relocated their headquarters to Coatbridge.

The line is heavily used for freight services also, with several Freightliner container trains a day from the nearby Coatbridge terminal to destinations in the south of England such as Felixstowe and Southampton.
