He is also a senior associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies' Global Aging Initiative, and a senior advisor to the Concord Coalition.

White currently serves as a director of L-3 Communications Corporation, IRG International, Inc., and the Institute for Defense Analyses, as well as the Concord Coalition and Center for Excellence in Government.
Before coming to the Concord Coalition, Bixby served as the Chief Staff Attorney at the Court of Appeals of Virginia.
