Through founding in 2001 with RADA the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama, London Contemporary Dance School became the first dance school to provide funding for its students which compares to that for students of other disciplines in the UK.

As an affiliate of the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama, LAMDA receives funding from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). This means that eligible UK/EU students are able to access loans to assist with their tuition fees and maintenance costs.
