Between 10 October 1927 and 14 April 1928 Costes and Joseph Le Brix flew 57,410 km (35,652 miles) around the world, in Breguet 19GR named Nungesser-Coli, from Paris through Argentina, Brazil, the United States, Japan, India, and Greece, although they traveled across the Pacific Ocean from San Francisco, California, to Tokyo, Japan, by ship.
Drugs Are Nice is the memoir of Lisa Crystal Carver published by Soft Skull Press in the US in 2005 and by Snowbooks in the UK in 2006, detailing her early childhood and later romantic relationships with Costes, Boyd Rice and Smog's Bill Callahan.
Hôtel Costes also releases its own compilation lounge music CDs, which contains music played and mixed within by DJ Stéphane Pompougnac.

The hotel was commissioned by the Costes brothers to the designer and interior architect Jacques Garcia in 1991.
Van Meteren's son, Emanuel, stated in an affidavit dated 28 May 1609 that his father was "a furtherer of reformed religion, and he that caused the first Bible at his costes to be Englisshed by Mr Myles Coverdal in Andwarp, the w’h his father, with Mr Edward Whytchurch, printed both in Paris and London."
