Battle of Westport

Although many signs and placards commemorating some aspect of the Battle of Westport are present throughout Kansas City today, the main battle monument is located in the Sunset Hill neighborhood just south of the Country Club Plaza.

Harbor Hill

After Harbor Hill was dynamited in 1947, a fountain with four equestrian statues, designed by Henri-Léon Gréber, was moved to Kansas City, Missouri where it has since been on public display adjacent to the Country Club Plaza.

KBEQ-FM

Many of Kansas City's most popular deejays would take their turn playing hits at Q-104's Country Club Plaza studios, including Pat McKay, Mike O'Brien, Steve Garrett, Johnny (Rockin') Rowlands, Bobby Ocean, Bobby Day, Chuck Nasty, Johnny Dare, Doug Billings, and Randy Miller.

Moosejaw

The new store is located in the Country Club Plaza; an upscale retail/dining district located south of downtown Kansas City.

Sly James

On August 13, 2011, James and entourage were touring the Country Club Plaza to investigate a request from Highwoods Properties (which manages the buildings in the Plaza) about imposing a 9 p.m. curfew on the Plaza because of unruly teens gathering there at night.

U.S. Route 56

For one mile (1.6 km) in Kansas City's Country Club Plaza, Route 56 follows the noted boulevard Ward Parkway along with 47th St through the Country Club Plaza.

Henri-Léon Gréber

Active in the United States of America, he produced a fountain sculpture of 4 equestrian statues for Harbor Hill in 1910, (restored in 1957 and installed at Mill Creek Park, adjacent to the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri) and the copy of The Kiss in the Philadelphia Rodin Museum.
