County court is the name given to the intermediate court in some Australian states (e.g. the County Court of Victoria).

On 6 June 2008, Chief Commissioner Christine Nixon announced that an external panel, consisting of a County Court Judge, members of the Australian Defence Force, members of the community, an ethicist and "other professionals" advised that Victoria Police should adopt semi-automatic duty firearms.
On August 8, 2005 the Victorian government represented by Peter Faris, QC, applied to the County Court of Victoria for a 15-year supervision order under the Serious Sex Offenders Monitoring Act, enabling Jones to be supervised once his parole term expired.
