He was born at Covarrubias, and studied in several European cities, which brought him into contact with Andrea Vesalius, the personal physician of King Philip II of Spain and «Médico de Cámara y Protomédico General de los Reinos y Señoríos de Castilla» (chief physician Medical and General Chamber of Kingdoms and Dominions of Castile).
It would be the only album that included Charlie Harcourt (who would later go on to join Cat Mother & the All Night Newsboys and Lindisfarne), Tommy Slone, and Mario Enrique Covarrubias Tapia who would leave shortly after the album was released.
One model is the organ from the 17th century of the Iglesia Colegial in Lerma close to Burgos, other models are in churches in Covarrubias and in Liétor.
