Astroscopus countermani is an extinct species of stargazer described from a cranium found in Tortonian deposits of the Calvert Cliffs of what is now Maryland.
A second specimen assigned to the species, Science Museum of Minnesota P90.38.8, consists of a cranium discovered in October 1990 by Bruce Erickson near the Wando Terminal.
On The Oprah Winfrey Show, Julia Roberts stated that Cranium "was the most fun game ever" and that she and boyfriend Benjamin Bratt "could not stop playing it.

Giorgio Davanzo created the packaging and brand identity for the game, and Gary Baseman, creator of the animated series Teacher's Pet, did the art.
Foramen magnum, a large opening in the occipital bone of the cranium
It also has a Pilder attached to the robot's cranium, able to transform itself into a discus to slice off its target, similar to some of the enemy mechas found in Grendizer.
The basioccipital lies in front of the opening, the two exoccipitals lie to either side, and the larger supraoccipital lies to the posterior, and forms at least part of the rear of the cranium.
This cranium and a number of isolated teeth and postcranial bones were found in a cave site in Pinar del Río Province.
Some ancient Greeks, including Aristotle, believed that the "phren" was located in the heart rather than the cranium.
They recorded their debut full-length album in 2008 entitled "A Crash Course In Cranium Crushing", which was produced by Henrik Larsson and recorded at Berno Studio in Sweden.
