Cometbus played drums for Screeching Weasel and Ben Weasel and John Jughead played bass for Crimpshrine for two shows around Chicago.

He and his brother Jack drove out in a Ford Pinto and finished the tour with Ott and Cometbus, also playing on a few recordings.
During Stikky's active years it was common for them, Crimpshrine, Isocracy, Operation Ivy, Corrupted Morals, Sweet Baby Jesus, or The Lookouts to open a bill for a touring punk band almost every weekend at 924 Gilman Street.
The label has released records for such punk bands as Operation Ivy, Jawbreaker, Pinhead Gunpowder, Crimpshrine, Corrupted Morals, Less Than Jake, Schlong and Various Artists compilations with such bands as Less Than Jake, The Piss Shivers, J Church, Blanks 77 latest record (VSR88) was released in 2003.
