Approaching from the south, it passes through Forestmill, Blairingone, Powmill, Crook of Devon and passes Balado (site of T in the Park), before reaching the M90.
Taking the footpath east from here will take you right through to the Crook of Devon.
The school was about 500 metres south-west of the River Devon and, because the river changes direction at Crook of Devon, it was also located about 500 metres north of the River Devon.
