In a move in late 2008 the theatre was hired to become a part of Crosskeys College as a home for National Diploma Musical Theatre students, however this does not affect the normal routine of the amateur theatre and the college works around the usual schedule of the theatre without conflicting with any other societies or performances.
He attended Bettws High School in Newport and then Crosskeys College, and performed at a number of Newport venues including Le Pub, Meze Lounge, Kama Lounge (Newport), Sessions at The Riverfront, and a number of times at the Celtic Manor.
d'Arby, originally Collins, went to Lliswerry High School in her younger years before studying at Crosskeys College and then later the Anna Scher Theatre School
