Conserve School

On November 14, 2005, a lawsuit was filed against Conserve School by the Culver Educational Foundation, parent of Culver Academies in northern Indiana.

Tom Allen (Cooper), the son of a decorated war hero who is feared to have died in battle, wins a scholarship to the Culver military academy.

William Vanderkloot

William attended Culver Military Academy in Indiana, and though he commanded the academy's Black Horse Troop, a cavalry unit, at age 16, he had long watched planes coming and going from the Glenview Naval Air Station.


Indiana State Road 117

State Road 117 starts at State Road 110, at the Fulton County line, southeast of Culver and travels north past Mystic Hills Golf Course, then along the east edge of Lake Maxinkuckee, and terminates at State Road 10 just east of Culver, near the Culver Military Academy.

Jonas H. Ingram

In August 1952, he suffered a heart attack while serving as the superintendent of summer schools at Culver Academies, then was stricken again with another attack on September 9, while at the U.S. Naval Hospital in San Diego, California.

Russell D. Oliver

He enrolled at the Culver Military Academy in Culver, Indiana, where he played football, basketball, and baseball, competed in varsity shell crew, and was the academy's heavyweight boxing champion.
