Jaroslav Nedvěd (born September 24, 1969 in Liberec) is a Czech ice hockey defenceman currently playing for Plzeň of the Czech Extraliga.
He started to play ice hockey on high level in town of Hradec Králové, then he came to HC Pardubice in 1984–85 and spent over 20 seasons in Czech Extraliga (Czechoslovak).
During the 2004-05 lockout, Prospal played for his hometown team HC České Budějovice, leading them in scoring and helping the team return to the Czech Extraliga.
His younger brother, Petr, plays ice hockey for HC Pardubice in Czech Extraliga and in 2010 also became world champion of his own.
