DFC Prag

It was common for sports clubs to be founded based on the shared ethnicity of their members and DFC Prag was created by a group of German Jews, many of them students at Charles University in Prague.

In 1933 German football was re-organized under the Third Reich into sixteen top-flight divisions known as Gauligen.

Paul Fischl

He played for DFC Prag in the inaugural German football championship in 1903, and also represented the Austrian national team on three occasions.
