The ferry goes between Dalarö on the mainland and Hässelmara on north-western Ornö.
It is set on 25 October 2003, where 32 people supposedly purchased a Volvo S40, at the same local Volvo dealership in Dalarö, a small village to the south-east of Stockholm.

The SNMM in cooperation with Haninge Municipality intend to turn the site of the Dalarö wreck into a wreck-diving park.
On the top of it there is a watchtower with a view all the way to central Stockholm, Dalarö and Gustavsberg.
