The South China cookiecutter shark (Isistius labialis) is a species of dogfish shark in the family Dalatiidae, found in the South China Sea at depths down to 520 m (1,700 ft).
The bareskin dogfish, Centroscyllium kamoharai, is a little-known, deepwater dogfish shark of the family Dalatiidae, so far found only in the western Pacific in Suruga Bay, Honshū, Japan.
The highfin dogfish, Centroscyllium excelsum, is a sleeper shark of the family Dalatiidae, found in the northwest Pacific Ocean on the Emperor Seamount chain between latitudes 50 and 38°N, at depths between 800 and 1,000 m.
