Martin Dardis (1922–2006), American soldier, police officer, investigator and reporter who linked the Watergate burglars to President Nixon's reelection committee
In October 2005, Dardis launched a Progressive Democrats (PD) policy document which advocated a ban on the use of drift nets to catch salmon in Irish waters, and called for "fair and appropriate" compensation for licence-holders.
In 1955, Dardis became the executive director for the Berkely Publishing Corporation in New York City.

Dardis was born in New York City in 1926 to Michael Gregory and Josephine Coletta Dardis.
