Interestingly, since the majority of the population are from nearby villages, most of them go to their native villages during the long month festivities starting from Dashain to Tihar and the town becomes nearly deserted.
Among them 15 Gate, Gaunkhane Katha, Lobhi Papi, Dashain, Je Bho Ramrai Bho (2003), Balidan, Ticket No. 216777, Raat, 205, Chiranjibi, Jalpari, Oh:Ho, Madan Bahadur Hari Bahadur, Aama etc. are popular.
Dashain is named after the Nepalese religious festival, Dasain.
