David Pickvance

In 2008, he was commissioned by HIT Entertainment to compose the music for series 6, 7, 8 and the feature film of the classic kids TV series Fireman Sam.

From 1987 to 1992 he studied composition at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.

High profile productions include the The City Speaks, Richard III, The Birds, Where The Wild Things Are, I, Claudius and Peter Pan in Scarlet.

In 2007, Pickvance created the Creative Sound course for the Tate Modern in London.

The City Speaks is two BBC radio dramas, a feature film and 6 collaborations between audio drama directors, script-writers, artist film-makers, composer David Pickvance and sound designer Pete Ringrose.
