With a total deadweight capacity of over 4 million tonnes, the vessels enter into long-term charters with strong counterparties around the world, such as BP Shipping, COSCO (China), Hyundai Merchant Marine (S.Korea), Maersk Line, Royal Dutch Shell, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Total (France), Repsol, Statoil (Norway), Pemex (Mexico), Petrobras (Brazil), Cepsa (Spain).
On 14 May 1988, the large 564,739 dwt Liberian supertanker, Seawise Giant, whilst carrying crude Iranian oil, was sunk by Iraqi anti-ship missiles off the coast of Larak Island.
Near the Port of Waterford it meets the River Barrow at Cheekpoint to form a wide navigable estuary, capable of accommodating seagoing vessels up to 32,000 tons dwt.
Aviation fuel tankers up to 120,000 dwt can discharge at the Bristol Aviation Fuel Terminal which opened in 2003, and feeds directly into the UK's pipeline and storage network.

As of 2010 the company's fleet consists of 11 oil tankers in the 45,000 to 111,000 dwt range, and two VLGCs.
