Aiding Piano on the album was the famous comedian Del Close, playing the role of Baron Barracuda.
Del Close worked with Riggs for a time, and members of both troupes were regulars at each other's shows when traveling.
An early full working title was "Let's Go Away for Awhile (and Then We'll Have World Peace)" - the parenthetical being a reference to Del Close and John Brent's comedy album How to Speak Hip.
In 1991, Stroth began studying long-form improvisation with Del Close and Charna Halpern at what was then called Improv Olympic, now the iO Theater in Chicago.

Throughout its 4-year run, O'Donnell co-produced and wrote while McKenzie co-produced and directed numerous productions starring themselves and actors Megan Cavanagh, Todd Erickson, Bobby McGuire, Peter Neville, Michael Dempsey, Caroline Schless, Lisa Keefe, Tom Purcell (head writer, Colbert Report), and Del Close.
Cast member Del Close later appeared in the 1988 remake of The Blob.
She has performed at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Los Angeles and UCBNY, The Second City Toronto Touring Company, and at The Second City L.A., Chicago Improv Festival, iO Chicago, iO West, Del Close Marathon, and more.
