Partially inspired by a lyric in Bob Dylan's ballad 'Desolation Row', Chris Gollon painted 'Einstein & The Jealous Monk'.
It is one of Dylan's major works of the 1980s and has surrealistic lyrics which differ from Dylan's earlier surrealistic songs such as "Desolation Row" and "Visions of Johanna".
It is one of his longest songs, and considered by fans to be his Desolation Row.
