Some of the notable are Jabal Bura', Jabal Raymah, and Jabal Badaj in the Yemeni highland escarpment, and the seasonal forests in eastern Yemen and the Dhofar region of Oman.
Badar is the younger brother of fellow Dhofar defeneder and national team player Fahad Nasib.
Omani newspaper, Al-Watan, Dhofar Insurance, Al Makan Cafe and Bank Muscat have all been featured on Dhofar's kit at one point in their history.

The plants of Dhofar will be housed in three ‘biomes’, structures of rock and glass, which will cycle the three seasons between them, so at any time of year a visitor may experience the Khareef (or monsoon season) at the garden.
South Arabia as a general refers to several regions as currently recognized, in chief the Republic of Yemen; yet it has historically also included Najran, Jizan, and 'Asir which are presently in Saudi Arabia, and Dhofar presently in Oman.
These languages are spoken mainly by small minority populations on the Arabian peninsula in Yemen (Mahra and Soqotra) and Oman (Dhofar).
