Dusty has worked with Dwight Yoakam, Lucinda Williams, Jim Lauderdale, Buck Owens, Michelle Shocked, Tom Russell, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Anne McCue, Tony Furtado, Feel, Reacharound, Dieselhed among others.
Atom was a founding member of the Thrash Funk band Psychefunkapus from 1986-1992 and a member of the San Francisco band Dieselhed from 1993-2000.
In 2004 Rachel, along with her sisters Petra and Tanya, recorded a set of traditional country songs as The Haden Triplets with their longtime friend and former Dieselhed member Zac Holtzman, currently of the band Dengue Fever.
