Batt, who resided for some years in the English monastery of his order at Dieulwart, in Lorraine.

Clement Reyner

Born in Yorkshire, he made his profession as a Benedictine monk in the monastery of St. Laurence at Dieulward in Lorraine in 1610, and pursued his studies in St. Gregory's monastery at Douai.

Edward Mayhew

Becoming affiliated with the Spanish congregation in 1612, it was given an equal share in St. Lawrence's monastery at Dieulwart, Lorraine, henceforth the centre of the English congregation.
