Colin Kenny

Following the Liberal government's defeat in the 1979 election, he worked as an executive with Dome Petroleum, until being appointed to the Senate on the recommendation of Trudeau in 1984.

Davie Shipbuilding

In 1981 the Davie shipyard was sold to Dome Petroleum and in 1985 it was sold to Versatile Corporation which changed the name of the shipyard to "Versatile Davie Incorporated".

GMD GMDH-1

Hudson Oil & Gas became Dome Petroleum and then Amoco Canada Petroleum, for whom the locomotive remains operable.

Russ Girling

In 1995, he was appointed Executive Vice-President, Power where he had overall responsibility for the creation and management of the TransCanada subsidiary, TransCanada Power, including the creation of TransCanada Power, L.P. Prior to joining TransCanada in 1994, he held several marketing and management positions at Suncor Inc., Northridge Petroleum Marketing and Dome Petroleum.
