Veturi, Bhuvanachandra, Kandikonda and Kulashekar penned lyrics for the songs in the film.
It was later remade in Telugu as Donga Dongadi with Manoj Manchu and Sadha as the protagonists, and Manikka Vinayagam would reprise his role as the male protagonist's father.
