He settled in a flat north of Château Saint-Jean, Dorlisheim, with his wife Teresa (who died shortly after), at the domain of promotion of Bugatti property of his son Ettore.
Ettore Bugatti was buried in the Bugatti family plot at the municipal cemetery in Dorlisheim near Molsheim in the Bas-Rhin département of the Alsace region of France.
