Doug Drexler (born in New York City) is a visual effects artist, designer, sculptor, illustrator, and a makeup artist who has collaborated with such talents as Al Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, James Caan, Meryl Streep, and Warren Beatty.

Most recently he played a holographic gunslinger in Pilgrim of Eternity, a fan produced webseries called Star Trek Continues.
Doug Drexler (1971), Illustrator, visual effects artist, and makeup artist, won Academy Award for best makeup for 1990's Dick Tracy, and two Emmys for VFX on Battlestar Galactica.
