He stood for the office of Lieutenant Governor for the U.S. state of Michigan as the Green Party candidate in 2006, as the running mate of Douglas Campbell.
Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Ian Douglas Campbell-Gray (14 July 1901 – 21 March 1946) was a British soldier serving in the Royal Engineers.
He directed at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, and appeared there in Douglas Campbell's production of The Miser with Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy.
