Douvrin engine

The Douvrin family was an all-aluminum straight-4 automobile engine designed in the early 1970s and produced from 1977 to 1996 by Compagnie Française de Mécanique, a joint-venture between Peugeot and Renault located in the town of Douvrin in northern France.

Prince engine

The engines’ components are produced by PSA at their Douvrin, France, facility, with Mini engine construction at Hams Hall in Birmingham, England.

PSA HDi engine

The engines are assembled in production plants in the cities of Trémery and Douvrin for PSA in France, at the Ford Dagenham plant in England, and the Ford-owned Volvo Engine Plant in Skövde Sweden.
