Clanwilliam is the birthplace of ZP Theart, former lead vocalist, and founding member of the British power metal band DragonForce.
They supported acts such as Kiss, SLASH, Trivium, All that Remains and Halestorm, DragonForce and Theory of a Deadman among others.
In 2Cent’s career they have performed with the following notable artists: Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Killswitch Engage, Chevelle, Danzig, DragonForce, God Forbid, Five Finger Death Punch, Gwar, Three Days Grace, Buckcherry, Korn, Otep, Pennywise, Rise Against, Shadows Fall, Children of Bodom, Black Label Society, Static-X and Clutch.

They have gained notoriety for their large Facebook campaigns, as well as their irreverent attitude and self-deprecating humour, as evidenced by the group and its fans getting artists from various major groups, including Andrew W.K., DragonForce, Jason Aalon Butler of letlive. and Mikael Åkerfeldt of Opeth (who the band are heavily influenced by) to tell them, in jest, to "fuck off".
During their tour with Chimaira, Dragonforce, and Killswitch Engage in spring of 2007, the first few weeks were played as a 4-piece without Marlow.
Theart also sang in Shadow Warriors, a side project by his then DragonForce bandmate Sam Totman during the late 90s.
