Prior to its acquisition by Adobe Systems, Macromedia had a product bundle known as eLearning Suite 2004, which included Flash MX 2004, Dreamweaver MX 2004, and Authorware 7.
Adobe Systems bought Macromedia in 2005 and therefore owns Dreamweaver, now called Adobe Dreamweaver.
One notable feature of CricketDraw was its ability to display the raw PostScript code and the QuickDraw-interpreted elements simultaneously in two windows, the same way Adobe Systems's Dreamweaver does with HTML code now.
The nominees for the BAFTA Ones to Watch Award 2012 are Digital Knights for Joust (IT University of Copenhagen and the University of Abertay Dundee), Evolved Ape for Dreamweaver (Liverpool John Moores University and the University of Central Lancashire) and Swallowtail for Tick Tock Toys(Norwich University College of the Arts and the University of Abertay Dundee).
But neither of these were as important to Web designers as "What You See Is What You Get" presentation of the content, which was better provided by products like DreamWeaver and FrontPage.
