After moving to Auckland, New Zealand, Alan was a member of the Dribbling Darts of Love before joining The Mutton Birds, which he was part of from 1992-1998 (and again, returning for live shows, in 2001).
Rhys Bevan was replaced by Alan Gregg during the recording of the album Fun In The Key Of E. Alan Gregg has gone on to feature in a number of other New Zealand bands including The Dribbling Darts Of Love, The Mutton Birds and Marshmallow.
