Igor Palii was born in 1963 in Drohobych, a regional center of Western Ukraine, in a family of musicians and child care workers.
The refinery purified oil extracted from rich fields of southern part of the Second Polish Republic (Gorlice, Boryslaw, Jasło, and Drohobych).
From 1936 to 1939 he was a teacher of piano and theoretical subjects at the M. Lysenko Music Institute in Drohobych and Stanislav, and from 1939 to 1942 at the music school in Stanislav (now - Ivano-Frankivsk).
The tour passed through Lviv several times between 1922 and 1924, while also visiting Rivne, Lutsk, Kremianets, Oleksandriia, Mezhirich, Kholm, Brest-Litovsk, Stryi, Stanyslaviv, Kolomyia, Przemyśl, Deliatyn, Ternopil, and Drohobych in that time.
This territory was divided into four administrative districts (oblasts): Lvov, Stanislav, Drohobych and Tarnopol (the latter including parts of Volhynia) of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic.
