The first British artist to announce a DualDisc release of his album was Sony/BMG recording artist Will Young.
There is a special edition DualDisc version of this album, with a DVD documentary about the making of IV: Constitution of Treason entitled "The Act of Treason".
Besides being released on CD, DVD, and DualDisc, the record was also released in a unit cell model, the result of a partnership with Nokia.

It features the DVD content of his 2004 release John Oates: Live At The Historic Wheeler Opera House on the DVD side of the DualDisc, and it contains the 14 track version of his 2002 studio album Phunk Shui on the CD side of the DualDisc.
In 2006 a DualDisc version of Phunk Shui came out under the title John Oates Solo - The Album, The Concert.
