Prior to Manhunt International 2007, Guang has modeled for Nike, Adidas, Pierre Cardin, Zenith Timepieces, Zara, Dunhill and many other local and international brand names.
In 1997 Mary left Harvey Nichols to launch an agency, Yellowdoor, which has made its mark in the creative advertising landscape, producing category challenging campaigns and championing brand development for clients including Clark's, Louis Vuitton, Oasis Stores, Swarovski, Dunhill, Boden, Thomas Pink, Patek Philippe and Mercedes-Benz.
The brand name Namiki came to fame in the early 20th Century when Dunhill retailed in the west the Maki-e pens produced by Pilot under the brand Dunhill-Namiki.
In 2004 he starred in the British film, A Way of Life, directed by Amma Asante, which won the "The Alfred Dunhill UK Film Talent Award" at the 2004 London Film Festival and its director won the BAFTA's "Carl Foreman Award" for a debut by a British filmmaker, as well as being named The Times Breakthrough Artist Of The Year at the 2005 South Bank Show Awards.
The cover artwork for each of the singles was a homage to the packaging of a luxury consumer item: Dunhill cigarettes for "The 'Sweetest Girl'", Dior's Eau Sauvage perfume for "Faithless", and Courvoisier cognac for "Asylums in Jerusalem"/"Jacques Derrida".

In 1935 Dunhill's music came to a wider public with the comic opera Tantivy Towers to a libretto by A.P. Herbert.
