Part V (Airworthiness) of the CARs is uniquely numbered to match the US FAA FARs parts as well as the EASA and JAA regulations.
The review process, incorporating the participation of Joseph Mangan, successfully finished in late 2006 when the Airbus A380 including the internal communication system and the microprocessors of the cabin pressure control system was certified by EASA and FAA.
The airline was the first in Egypt to receive EASA standards maintenance certification and IOSA certification (IATA Operational Safety Audit).
On the 26th of November, 2006, the joint venture will be issued a quality certification by EASA; it will sell 200 aircraft every year to the market of Europe and America.
MSD is a member of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA), and ESD currently holds membership and Board of Directors positions with the International Electrical Testing Association (NETA) and the Professional Electrical Apparatus Recyclers League (PEARL).
