The headquarters of the company's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region is in Brussels.
This resulted in the establishment of Discovery Networks Deutschland, Discovery Networks Benelux, Discovery Networks Nordic, Discovery Networks UK & Ireland, Discovery Networks Italia and Discovery Networks EMEA (which served all other territories).
The merged entity was headquartered in Waterloo, Belgium, on the same premises as EPSS (European Payment Systems Services) and MasterCard EMEA (the MasterCard region comprising Europe, the Middle East and Africa).
On December 4, 2007, a Biologic License Application (BLA) with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was filed by Centocor and Janssen-Cilag International (collaborator) has submitted a Marketing Authorization Application (MAA) to the European Medicines Agency (EMEA).
Al Moffatt is President/CEO, Lisa Kettman-Kervinen is Director of EMEA operations out of Finland, and Aw Tai Heng is Director of Asia Pacific operations out of Singapore.
