Telecom Bretagne (formerly known as ENST Bretagne) is one of the top French grande école and a high standard research centre providing high level training in Information Technologies and telecommunications.
Before that, he was a visiting professor at a number of renowned European technical universities such as the ENST- ParisTech, the ETH-Zurich or Technical University of Denmark.
Annually, professors at the member universities of the AUF (such as ENST Paris, Université catholique de Louvain, UQAM...) come to IFI to give lectures.
In 1975, he moved to Paris to finish his engineering studies at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications since the Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Beirut in Lebanon closed because of war.
In 1975, Kruchten received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at the Ecole Centrale de Lyon in France, an MA in Software Engineering in 1978 at the École nationale supérieure des télécommunications in Paris, and a PhD in computer science from the French Institute of Telecommunications in 1986.
He studied at the École Nationale des Services du Trésor (ENST) in Paris.
